Lars Stensö (b. 1948)
MFA Konstfack, Stockholm.

Stensö is based in Väddö, Stockholm with his own studio, which he designed and built. He runs his own architectural and design agency and has also taught at Konstfack. Stensö has been one of Woodstockholm's most important designers since 2010. In 2014, Stensö designed the critically acclaimed Woodstockholm restaurant including all furniture and furnishings. A project that has since been nominated for a series of Swedish awards such as "Guldrummet", "Gulddraken" and has been internationally acclaimed in different medias.
Stensös design ​​are characterized by architectural and geometric shapes. His exquisite craftsmanship with visible construction details and carefully selected materials in often unexpected combinations wich give the furniture it´s unique character. The High Fidelity easy chair is a unique piece of furniture that Stensö designed in 2012. It was shown at Market Art Fair in Stockholm in 2018.
Woodstockholm is a design agency and furniture manufacturer for innovative design and a restaurant at Mosebacke in Stockholm, founded in 2010. Together with an amazing team of designers including Mats Theselius, Uglycute, Lars Stensö and Amanda Karsberg, they have developed rapidly in recent years, not least through a number of exhibitions in (Milan, Tokyo, Helsinki) and the annual Woodstockholm Design Week project in Stockholm. Woodstockholm's products are characterized by traditional craftsmanship, high quality materials, innovation and sustainability.
Woodstockholm's café and restaurant are governed by the same basic philosophy of furniture production with a clear focus on environmental sustainability, high quality food and service aswell as high gastronomic ambitions. Since the opening in April 2015, Woodstockholm Bistro has brought great attention to its innovative cooking and beautiful environment with consistently high ratings from both national and international restaurant reviewers and visitors.
