Gilded and patinated bronze. Base of marble. Height excl. modern lamp 50 cm. Includes a modern white shade.

Altered vase to modern lamp with holes made for electricity. Decor losses. Electrical function not tested. Marbel base with chips.

Claude Galle (1759-1815), en av de främsta franska bronsfabrikörerna, var verksam från 1805 på Rue Vivienne fram till sin död 1815, då hans son Gérard-Jean fortsatte rörelsen på samma adress fram till 1822.
