A CARPET, semi-antique Tabriz, ca 351,5 x 262,5 cm.

A red ground with a polychrome mid medallion with pseudo inscriptions, birds, Phoenix birds, mythological animals, animal heads, palmette and flower festoons, cloud bands, cartouches with a deer by a blooming tree. A light green main border with large palmette, arabesque and flower festoons.

Some wear, minor stains, one small hole. Minor mothdamages and insignificant colour run areas at the back, the sides and ends have minor fold wear.
