A Meissen tureen with cover and stand, 18th Century.

Oval with a finial in the shape of leek and artichoke, decorated in colours and gold with flower garlands and on the cover birds. Length 38.5 cm.

Gift from the Swedish Princess Ingeborg to 'Rädda Barnen' charity auction at Svensk-Franska Konstgalleriet, February 4th-5th 1946, lot not 601.
