Control mark Eloy Brichard. Length 5 cm, width 4 cm, height 2,5, weight 55 grams.

Provenance

Enligt uppgift kommer dosan från franska grevinnan Marie Stanislas Josefine Sparre (1764-1824) gift med Fredrik Tersmeden (1752-1819) hans bouppteckning nämner under "Guld": 1. Snusdosa väger 24. ducater om 18 carat.
Dosan upptagen 1896 i skiftet efter deras sondotter Margareta, gift Eketrä (1826-1896) och tillföll då dottern Ebba, gift von Engeström (1859-1946), hon har antecknat: "Tillhört Grevinnan Sparre min mors farmor" .
Därefter i arv på kvinnosidan till nuvarande ägare
