A CARPET, an antique Karabagh kelly, around 1870-1890, ca 330 x 157 cm (as well as one end has 1-3 cm flat weave).
A dark brown ground with seven connected polychrome medallions, corner ornaments, large and small stylized flowers. A light blue main border with a large flower and leaf vine.
A little uneven sides, minor abrashes, the dark brown coloured wool is corroded. Some partly harder wear, dirty, stains, reknotted areas, minor repairs.
