More information

The artist Sten Ericson often worked with the large format. His sculptures are available today in public places around Sweden and abroad. The art critic and researcher Nils Palmgren wrote about Ericson's work "... a heavy, solid basic form and a tender experience in the human". Ericson sometimes worked in marble but above all in bronze and most of the monumental sculptures we see in our parks in Sweden are from the 40s and 50s. Among the more well-known works of art can be mentioned "Bianca" from 1947.
