Aune Siimes( 1902-1964). She was one of the few of her Finnish contemporaries specializing in working with thin transluscent porcelain. Her aim was to create a luxurious and exclusive objects, not thinking so much abour function. She often mixed different kind of coloured textures, like on this object.
