Images of individual pages are available on request. Liber amicorum of Swedish priest and scholar Lars Peter Wåhlin (1772-1834), begun in 1797. With contributions by several Swedish, German and Danish celebrities.373 numbered leaves including many blanks. As a rule the autographs, usually a quote or poem, are written on the recto ofeach leaf. A very large portion of the entriesare from Wåhlin’s journey abroad in 1797, rather few are from the 1800s, and the latest is dated 1841. With a contemporary list of contents on the opening two pages. 11,2 x 18,8 cm(oblong). Contemporary full calf with Wåhlin’s initials in gilt on front cover (which is entirely loose). Schiller’s contribution reads: ”Der Kopf kann viel vom Herzen lernen, Dochlernt das Herz vom Kopfe nichts. / Zum Andenken / Jena 29. August. 1797 von Fr.
