AN EMBROIDERY, ivory coloured silk, the Royal Palace Strömsholm, ca 34,5 x 48,5 cm, Sweden around 1800.
With a later frame ca 40 x 54 cm. Polychrome silk embroideries of the palace in the park with large trees and bridges over a lake with swans. A painted sky.
Some wear, slightly dirty, stains, tears, minor damages. The frame has some wear.
Provenance
According to the owner Fridhem in Strängnäs. Probably from the family von Sydow, Broby in Södermanland.
