From Jean de La Fontaine's Fables (after Aesop). An ivory ground with a large polychrome medallion with the stork and the fox in a landscape, flower garlands and bows. A pink border. Wool and silk. Partially lined.
Partially later areas. Partly some wear, dirty, stains, rewoven areas, restorations, insignificant damages, painted areas. The border has some faded areas.
