Figure scene with a scholar in his pavillion surouned by a rocky landscape. Measurement painting 96x185 cm. Measurement with frame 116x214 cm.

Damages, repairs, retouches. Glued upon panel.

Provenance

From the collection of Maria Berndt-Larsson (1897-1993). Thence by descent. Maria Berndt was one of the first Swedish medicine doctors. She was a friend of Ellen Key and the two of them are depicted on a painting at Ellen Keys house by Vättern.
