A Tibeto-Chinese bronze figure of a Rakshasi, ca 1900.

Rakshasi riding a human corpse. With three eyes and a fierce wrathful expression. Holding a sword and a phurba, on her back a human skin. Belonging to the circle of Mahakala. The lotus pedestal of the same period, but probably not original, not sealed. The blade of the sword is missing. Height 18 cm.

Wear, blade of sword missing.
