A carpet, knotted pile in relief, ca 247,5 x 164-168 cm, signed Brita Grahn, Sweden first half of the 20th century.

A tan coloured flat woven ground with knotted relief of a grid, zigzag and stripe pattern in ivory as well as a variety of green and blue nuances. A green melange border.

Slightly faded. Some partly hard wear, dirty, stains. Ribbon lined ends with fringes.

Brita Grahn (1907-2003) hade Ateljé Textura i Uppsala 1932-40, blev konstnärlig ledare för AB Robert Ditzingers vävateljé i Sundbyberg. Grahn har haft separatutställningar i Stockholm och Göteborg samt deltagit i utställningar i Stockholm och Zürich.
