A Dutch armorial Delft serving dish with the Swedish arms of von Fersen, late 17th Century, circa 1700.

Decorated with a lambrequin and to the center the coat of arms. Diameter 26,3 cm.

Restored.

Provenance

To the center the arms of the von Fersen family. The service most possibly made for Reinhold Johan von Fersen who in the late 17th Century served at a Dutch regiment. In 1739, additions were made of this service, then at the Swedish Rörstrand factory.

Exhibitions

A plate with the same measurment is depicted in the catalogue of a Commemorative Exhibition at the Malmö Museum 1841-1941. Page 288. Listed as inventory no 30212, Donated in 1939 by Fredrik Ramel.
