Text verso on the strether P. Hilleström f (fecit) and numbered no 2. Canvas laid down on board 39.5 x 33.5 cm. Period gilded Swedish frame.

Provenance

Ealier in the Grönsö Collection, Sweden.
After chamberlain Erik von Ehrenheims death in 1930 it was a gift to secretary of state Lars Rabenius, Djursholm, Sweden.
Sold at Christie's, auction Important French Furniture and an Important Collection of Swedish Works of Art, London, 8 December 1994, catalogue no 566.
Thereafter in a Swedish Private Collection.
