A olive green glazed wine jar, probably Jin/Six dynasties (265-420).

Yue goods from Zhejiang, possibly from Shaoxing. So called chickenpot, olive green glaze, iron spots. Diameter 17 cm. Height 13,7 cm.

Purchased at Bukowskis autumn, auction sale 1999, lot no 1208.

From the Collection of Claes Wirseen (1939-2020). Pharmacist Claes Wirseen grew up in a family with a passion for Art and Antiques, he and his wife continued the tradition and were frequent visitors to the Fine Art viewings of the Auction Houses in Stockholm. He became interested in Asian art in the 1980’s and started to build up his collcetion at that time, never tiring to learn more about the Asian Ceramics and Works of Art.
