A blue and white dish, Ming dynasty (1368-1644).
Presumably the interregnum period. Decorated with a buddhist lion. Around the rim further decoration with continous lotus pattern. The reverse with mythical beasts. Diameter 19,5 cm. Box accompanies the piece.
Surface wear, possibly shipwrecked.
