Provenance

According to information given the tiara was purchased in S:t Petersburg around 1907 by Mr Brändström, the Swedish ambassador in Russia 1906 - 1920. Thence by descent. Mr Brändström was the father of Elsa Brändström also known as "the angel of Siberia".
