A pair of blue and white dishes, Transition, Tianqi/Chongzhen, 17th Century.

Decorated in underglaze blue with a pinetree with gnarled twisted trunk that almost forms a character, cherry blossoms and bamboo. Hallmark to reverse. Diameter 16 cm.
