A rug, a semi-antique Esfahan figural part silk, ca 222-227,5 x 128-135,5 cm.

A burgundy ground with a polychrome decor of blooming trees, animals, birds and columns with a niche. A wide dark green main border with trees, flowers and birds. Silk warp. Several motives knotted in silk.

The silk is partly corroded. Some wear, slightly dirty, minor stains and mothdamages, fragile ("cherook") areas that can break, repairs, minor holes. Traces of a glued on label at the back, the sides and ends have minor fold wear and damages, one ends has tears and holes, later fringes.
