A polychrome embroidery on different fabrics partly with sequins, glass stones and glass beads. Some painted areas. Lined.

Some wear, slightly dirty, minor stains. The blue fabric very damaged.

Anna Casparsson's textile works are rare at auctions. Born in 1861 she made her debut as an artist as late as 1945 and became very admired for her originality. In 1960, there was a separate exhibition at the Moderna museet in Stockholm with her art. Casparsson experimented with different material in her embroideries and applications as laces, buttons, glass beads and sequins.
