A carpet, a semi-antique Tabriz, ca 528-535 x 346,5-352,5 cm, signed Farhan.
A red ground with a large classic Persian palmette pattern with smaller flowers, leaves and dragon-like ornaments in different colours. A wide ivory main border with a large palmette and flower vine as well as smaller cloud bands and flower festoons. The inner secondary border with a cartouche with the signature.
Little partly hard wear, slightly dirty, stains, mothdamages, minor repairs. The sides have minor fold wear.
