More information

The model can be traced to silver chandeliers of the type that Carl Gyllenstierna af Steninge (1649-1723) had three of. These were donated to different churches by his widow Anna Maria Soop af Limingo. The design can be found among the French pattern drawings collected by Nicodemus Tessin the younger.
