An Empire ormolu and patinated bronze mantel clock, circa 1820.

The dial set in a tree trunk flanked by a leaning Hercules holding the Apple of Hesperides. The rectangular base set with a trophy of the Twelve Labours on stylized paw-feet. Signed 'ROLLAND SPAPERE À MARSEILLE'. Width 39, depth 16, height 48 cm.
