Mahogany box with differens silver items like cutlery and jars with silver lids. Silver with marks of O Hasselquist and J N Segebaden, Jönköping, late 18th century.
Length 45 cm, width 36 cm, height 27 cm.

Provenance

Gertrud Antoinette von Knorring (1740-1799) married to Christoffer Hedercrantz (1711-1778) bought Strömsberg estate 1773, thereafter inherited by the daughter Christina Hedercrantz (1761-1826) married to
Johan von Strokirch (1741-1800).
Thereafter inherited to the family von Essen to the present owner.
The complete box was preserved at Strömsberg estate until 1969 when the city of Jönköping acquired the estate.
