François Gaspard Teuné möbler håller hög kvalitet och han levererade till franska hovet, bl a åt Ludvig XVI:s bror, hertigen av Artois sedermera kung Charles X. För honom utförde han sin främsta möbel, en cylindersekretär 1781, i dag i de brittiska kungliga samlingarna (RCIN 2548).
