"Konstnären Per Fhager inspireras både av broderiets obegränsade möjligheter och av TV-spels magiska förmåga att förflytta oss till en annan värld. Genom att kombinera dessa två intressen har han hittat ett unikt konstnärligt uttryck som speglar vår samtid.
Pers ofta färgstarka broderier hämtar motiv från retrospel som Megaman, Super Mario, Ice Climber och Zelda. Bildernas motiv väljer han utifrån personliga minnen av sina bästa spelupplevelser. Genom Pers broderade fantasilandskap och spelhjältar förflyttas ett traditionellt hantverk in i samtidskonstens finrum."
