A large imari charger, Qing dynasty, Kangxi (1662-1722).

Decorated in imari colours with two peacocks in a garden with a blossoming cherry tree, peonies and chrysanthemum. The scene is flanked by a scroll painting of a landscape. Diameter 47 cm.

Rimcrack, some crazing to glaze on the backside.
