A French 'Sèvres' cup and tremleuse saucer, 19th Century.

Blue interlaced L's, double c mark. S mark. The cup of tapering cylindrical form with entwined double loop handle with gilt foliage terminals, painted with garlands of flowers on a ground of pink an green, the cup with a panel with putti in a garden
setting surrounded by gilt dot-ornament, kartousches and further garlands, the saucer similarly decorated but with two panels with putti, gilt dentil rims. Height of cup 9 cm. Diameter of stand 15.5 cm.

The cup with a crack in the footrim.
