A bronze censer with cover in the shape of a duck, Qing dynasty, 17th/19th Century.

The duck raising its head towards the sky, the wings acting as cover. Height 26 cm. Length 16 cm.

One foot broken, mended.

Provenance

From the collection of a Scandinavian nobleman, who had a long diplomatic career starting, in the 1920s as a young attache in China, later on as ambassador in China.
