A Senneh saddle cover, North West Persia, ca 80 ,5 x 92,5 cm

Around 1880. An Indigo blue ground with animals and a cartouche around an angular shaped ornament. A red melange mihrab with a herati pattern. A wide pale yellow melange main border with a stylized vine.

Partly harder wear, repairs, rewoven areas.
