More information

The Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5165 is a reference that often escapes the spotlight, belonging to the transitional phase of the collection. Introduced in 2007, a full decade after the inception of the original Aquanaut, this reference possesses a unique history.

Notably, the movement within the reference 5165A has typically been the caliber 324 SC. However, during the initial stages of production, a brief period saw the utilization of the caliber 315, the same movement employed in the original "Jumbo" Aquanaut, Ref. 5065. This movement choice added an interesting layer of connection to the roots of the Aquanaut lineage, underlining the watch's place in the series' evolution.
