An ormolu and painted bronze four-light Empire chandelier, early 19th century.
Modelled after a Roman oil lamp, with four eagle-headed branches issuing from grotesque masks, the body with a surmounting flame finial and a grape cluster finial to bottom. Height 72, diameter 51 cm.
