George III mahogany case. The silvered roman and arabic dial signed "John Hodges London". Length 52, width 24,5, height 249 cm. Pendulum, key, and weights included.

John Hodges, verksam vid Exchange Alley London, är känd genom dokumentation från och med 1729 till 1738. Då det dock förekommer mer sentida ur med hans signatur är det troligt att hans produktion fortsatte in på 1700-talets andra hälft.
