A Swedish silver beaker, mark of W.A. Bolin, Stockholm 1921. Possibly after Auguste Moreau.

Beaker in the shape of a wine barrel with a putto. Interior traces of gilding. Height 15 cm, length 12 cm. Weight 572 grams.

According to information from Court Jeweler W.A. Bolin, Auguste Moreau sculpted silver figurines for bodywork in Moscow. Objects stamped in Stockholm before 1930 were usually cast, forged, or chased in Moscow and assembled, either fully or partially, in Stockholm.
