A 19th century Suzani embroidery, prossibly Bukhara, Uzbekistan, ca 241 x 164 cm

Six pieces of fabric sewn together. An ivory melange ground with a polychrome decor of large stylized flowers as well as leaf and flower vines. A main border with a flower and leaf vine.

Part of the collection of Conrad M Pineus (1872-1945) Gothenburg.
Purchased during a trip to India around 1910.
