Signed B.I.S. and dated 10/8 (17)69 After a rococo silver model, oval with volute shaped handles and standing proud on three feet, the finial in the shape of a dove. Height 20 cm. Length 26 cm.
Chips, cracks. Cover with retouches, repair.

From the Collection of the Swedish Banker, Art Collector and Mecenat Falk Simon (1874-1957), Gothenburg, thence by descent. Falk Simon was an important collector of antiques and art in Sweden, he donated his renowned silver collection to the Röhsska Museum in 1934.
