Hans Gedda is Sweden's most famous portrait photographer. From the 1960s until today, he has captured unforgettable portraits of most of our Swedish and foreign celebrities. People like Nelson Mandela and Astrid Lindgren, Ingemar Stenmark and Ingmar Bergman have passed through his lens. The iconic portrait of Cornelis Vreeswijk was photographed in Gedda's studio on Götgatan and has become the most famous image of our Dutch national hero.
