"Los Angeles – Hong Kong – Bombay" hör till serien "I want to live close to you" där Felländer flög runt jordklotet på 12 dagar och fångade hela världen på ett negativ. Motivet har bland annat visats på Fotografiska 2011. Felländer har just nu en stor separatutställning på MOCA Miami (Museum Of Contemporary Art North Miami), "How To Unlock a Portal" 7 december 2017 – 11 februari 2018.
"Med Stockholm som utgångspunkt har Jacob Felländer genomfört ett fotografiskt experiment. Under tolv dagar besökte han i tur och ordning New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Bombay, Dubai och Paris med intentionen att fånga världen på ett enda negativ. Genom en speciell teknik med en modifierad analog kamera har det varit möjligt att exponera och samtidigt vrida fram filmen en centimeter i taget. Resultatet är ett panorama där städerna flyter in i varandra i kronologisk ordning och där detaljer framträder i det visuella bruset med en etsande intensitet."
