More information

Jonas Als was born in 1988 north of Copenhagen. As a child, Als loved being in nature and working with his hands, which developed and laid the foundation for my career. He works from an aesthetically functional starting point, but the final expression is always created intuitively during the process. The characteristics and patterns of the wood, as well as the choice of technique and tools, are crucial for the final result. Als primarily operates within a traditional Scandinavian woodworking tradition and has been recognized for his work with many Michelin-starred restaurants in Denmark and internationally, such as Kadeau, Jordnær, Eksteds, Óx, and others.
