Hubert Hydman was born in 1951 and after studies at Konstfack and later a journeyman's certificate, he started his own silver workshop in 1981. He has participated in a number of exhibitions like the Europaische Silber Triennale, Liljevalchs, Svenskt Tenn and in 2023 at the The Royal Academy of Fine Arts when Nutida Svenskt Silver celebrated 60 years with a collective exhibition. Hydman has received a number of prestigious awards over the years and is represented at Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, Röhsska Art Museum, Kulturen i Lund and the Nordiska museet among others.
