A carved celadon 'longquan' vase, Yuan/Ming dynasty.

A high-shouldered body, with a straight neck tapers to a slightly spreading foot, and is carved with a wide band of chrystanthemum scroll, all under a glaze of soft olive-green tone. Height 34.5 cm. Height with wooden stand 37.5 cm.

Crazing, glaze cracks.
