A sang de boeuf glazed vase, Qing dynasty with Xuande mark.

Drop shaped with a tall slightly flared neck and a red sang de boeuf glaze. Height 18 cm.

Cracks, restored chip.

Provenance

From the collection of a Scandinavian nobleman, who had a long diplomatic career starting, in the 1920s as a young attache in China, later on as ambassador in China.
