18K gold, handle in the form of a knight's armour glove, with an arm of lapis lazuli, holding a stamp with a carnelian seal plate with a monogram under a crown, at the other end a seal stem of heliotrope with alliance coat of arms for the families Falkenberg af Trystorp and Sprengtporten under a baronial crown. Original case, length approximately 98 mm, total weight 63.1 g.

Provenance

Baron Henrik Gabriel David Falkenberg of Trystorp (1818-1882) married in 1850 to Baroness Aurora Louise Ulrika Sprengtporten (1827-1899). The seal was included in her estate inventory in 1899.
