More information

In 1956, Ervin Piquerez SA (EPSA) revolutionized water-resistant watches with the "Super Compressor" case. Its unique feature was a spring mechanism that improved water resistance by tightening the case under pressure. The "Super Compressor" became a key innovation, adopted by many brands, including Alpina, who used it in their 1967 "Alpina 10", a watch designed for diving.
