A French Empire ormolu and patinated bronze mantel clock, Paris, early 19th century.

Modelled as Hermes/Mercurius tying his sandals. Brass dial with Roman numeral indices, signed "MAURET A PARIS". Length 31, width 14.5, height 51.5 cm. Key and pendulum included.
