A German Rococo repoussé copper teapot, mid 18th century.

Copper. Globular with a curved spout and low foot. Richly chased decoration of rocailles, scrollwork, flowers, birds, and fruit baskets. Profiled handle with attachment in the form of grotesque masks. Finial in the shape of a bird. Length 26, height including handle 23 cm.
