A Swedish rococo giltwood mirror attributed to N. Sundström (master in Stockholm 1754-81).
The crest with rich, partly openwork decoration of leaf scrolls, rocailles, and an arch-shaped frame with a crowning shell, similar lower part, outer frame carved in the form of a branch with stylised leaf buds. In the frame, set glass with engraved decoration of facets and crowning stars. Mercury-backed and facet-cut mirror glass. Height 115, width 65.
