Designer

Niklas Runesson is a self-taught craftsman and carpenter who grew up in Småland, Sweden. With a legacy of three generations of woodworkers in the manufacture of turned toy parts, Runesson takes the heritage into the future. Runesson creates his objects freely without sketching or drawing models. Much of Runesson's inspiration comes from nature but also fragments of the unknown/fantasy.

Runesson was named Designer of the Year by Residence Magazine in 2024.
